For years, global enterprises have been using the Ei3 Remote Monitoring Cloud to perform real-time remote monitoring of equipment energy consumption and resource use. This remotely acquired data is analyzed in combination with measured machine production results to derive highly accurate CO2 emissions numbers per unit of production. Having this accurate reportable information makes it possible for a packaging manufacturer or converter to accurately describe the CO2 emissions and sustainability impact of the converting stage of the packaging life cycle. The information can be used for carbon disclosure or shared with supply chain partners for their own disclosure as scope 3 emissions under the Green House Gas Protocol. Mr. Cramer’s presentation will provide insight into how the Remote Monitoring Cloud works to provide enterprises with an effective method for gathering, storing, analyzing and reporting the sustainability of packages.
