However, if a connection to a back-end server is permitted and available, ConnectedAI’s federated learning is able to share event-based data – the essence of the learning process – across peer machines and the larger fleet, as the operators policy permits, allowing fleet-wide insights to emerge while significantly reducing the risk that key operational data is shared inadvertently.
